Copper plating applied and removed from a child sized helmet. The original helmet, borrowed from a stock exchange trader who lives locally, was returned without a trace.

Brianna Leatherbury creates diffuse sculptures that play sensuously with transactions. Through her research, she explores the material effects of economic forces found in objects, spaces, encounters. With a focus on substantially, her work aims to describe a relationship between ambient and institutional structures.
