David Bade & Tirzo Martha: “Ssstt-Immortality or Diversity” at KERSGALLERY
AMSTERDAM – Renowned artists David Bade and Tirzo Martha present their latest collaborative project, “Ssstt- erfelijkheid of Diversity,” at KERSGALLERY. The exhibition opens on Friday, September 8, 2023, promising an engaging exploration of heredity and diversity in contemporary art.
This dynamic duo, known for their unique and provocative artworks, will showcase new pieces that challenge and celebrate themes of identity, heredity, and cultural diversity. The artworks have recently been proudly acquired by the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, and works by Tirzo Martha have also been added to the collection of Museum Beelden aan Zee.
Beyond their individual contributions, Bade and Martha have a deep collaboration with Kunsthal Rotterdam under the banner of “All you can Art,” in partnership with Instituto Buena Bista (IBB) Curaçao. This collaboration, initiated in 2016, has resulted in many successful editions and has established itself as a significant part of Rotterdam’s cultural landscape.
This summer, the artworks of Bade and Martha can be admired not only at the Cobra Museum, Museum Jan Cunen, and Kunsthal, but also at the prestigious ARTZUID and in Voorhout Monumentaal, underscoring their ongoing contribution to the Dutch art scene.
KERSGALLERY is honored to provide the stage for this exhibition and invites art enthusiasts, critics, and the public to participate in the opening on September 8 and experience the works of Bade and Martha.
